Q&A with our Sales Rep, Sleety!
Welcome to our next Q&A! This interview is featuring our very own Matt Sleet, or as we all know him because we have too many Matt’s working here, Sleety!
Sleety joined us in March 2020 as our Sales Rep. Sleety is passionate about music and food, especially Italian and in particular pasta. Any kind. He also holds the Custard Cream Champion title at Phantom, as he can fit five in his mouth.
First of all - what's your favourite Phantom beer so far?
I’m going to say…[ponders]...one of our sours, so many to choose from. I’m going to go with Echoes.
You’re creating a playlist for The Haunt, who has to be on it?
Venga Boys, Boney M. and Earth, Wind & Fire.
If you were to audition on Britains Got Talent, what would you do?
I would give them a bit of the sleety magic.
If dogs could eat chocolate, do you think they would prefer choc digestives or Oreos?
Oreos - it's the cream in the middle that does it. Whereas cats, on the other hand, would want something to dip in their milk or cream.
So, are you saying cats would like choc digestives?
No, it’s still Oreos. Especially my cats. [Sleety doesn’t own a cat]
But you know I was asking about dogs, right?
Yeah, it’s the same. Forget about the cats for now. Oreos number one. All animals love Oreos.
What’s your favourite TV show?
On a scale of 1-10 how much of a big geek are you?
Well, I watch Better Call Saul.
What do you want to see more of in the beer industry?
More? I think people just being more creative, and pushing the boundaries of creativity. Do what you wanna do baby!
If there was one philosophy you live by, what would it be?
Upstairs for thinking, downstairs for dancing.
Did someone say...beer?
Yeah they did! [with a pointing finger]
When he’s not busy doing visits, you can find Sleety at Hampton Court Palace, because that’s where he lives. Apparently.
