Q&A with our new Taproom Manager, Lisa!

Welcome to our next Q&A featuring our very own Lisa Mullins. 

Lisa joined us in February as our Taproom Manager. Lisa loves eating biscuits and cooking curries. She also wants to learn how to make quilted blankets so she can swaddle herself while watching spooky movies.

 

 

First of all - what's your favourite Phantom beer so far?

Just Deserts. Tastes like a quality street. 

 

What style of beer do you want to see more of?

What do I think is underrated. Smoked beers - I like me a smokey malt. 

 

Is a bird in the hand really better than two in the bush?

Depends on your opinion of birds, I would prefer two in the bush. But if one is your hand, is that cos you’re feeding it seeds? That’s cute. Is it like a cute robin, or maybe a pigeon? I could do that. But is it a pelican? What the fuck am I going to do with that. 

 

You’re creating a playlist for the taproom, who has to be on it?

Charli XCX, she is an icon. 

 

Would you rather wear gloves worn by Ronan Keating or slippers worn by Jeff Goldblum?

Slippers by Goldblum. He’s such a fashionable guy - and think of the resell value compared to Ronan, he’s old hat. They’d definitely be Prada or Gucci. 

 

Favourite thing about working in beer?

Making pals, and the comradery it brings. I really like sharing tastes as well - finding new beer styles through friends. 

 

What beer destination is top of your list to visit?

Bavaria - give me them big lagers, please!

Chocoeverything. Chocoallofit.

What do you want to see more of in the beer industry?

Discos.

Yeah, always.
